Today we’re releasing Powering Up: The Case for Electric Commercial Kitchens, a practical toolkit to help property companies and commercial tenants confidently plan the move to electric cooking.
Kitchen upgrades, regulatory pressure, rising energy costs and new all-electric building requirements mean more tenants are facing electrification decisions. For leasing and tenant managers, understanding electric kitchens means you can answer questions confidently and help tenants make informed decisions about their fit-out.
“With energy costs and sustainability requirements both rising, more property companies are looking to electric cooking as the way forward for their tenants,” says Andrea Au, Global Cooksafe Coalition’s Australia Manager. “This toolkit is intended to lay out a simple case for electrification and provide access to real examples of kitchens making the switch to electric.”
