About the Global Cooksafe Coalition

The Global Cooksafe Coalition (GCC) is an unprecedented alliance of experts committed to the electrification of cooking in all buildings in the OECD by 2040 and worldwide by 2045.

Launched in Australia in late 2022 and in the UK in 2024, the GCC is a response to the growing awareness of the impacts of dangerous fuels and their use for cooking.

The coalition has the support of celebrity chefs, major global property companies and leaders in health, aid and development, climate change and renewable energy.
